Abstract

The deuteron break-up reaction was investigated by means of the two-dimensional measurement of proton and neutron energy distributions at neutron emission angles of 10°, 20°, 30° and 40°. The pole diagram approximation was applied to analyse the mesaured cross sections for a bombarding neutron energy of 14.5 MeV. Reasonable agreement between the observed and calculated cross sections was obtained.
