Abstract

Petrochemical and geochemical identity of all magmatic formations in this area, their similar age (194 to 198 m.y. B.P.) and structural positions are taken as evidence of their comagmatism and genetic unity, as series, the first one of the kind in Mongolia— an analogue of the well known Nigerian series. Alkalic granitoids and effusives in the Dashi-Balbar downwarp show considerable enrichment of lithium, rubidium, tin, and other metals.
