Abstract
The mesonic and relativistic corrections to the deuteron charge radius and quadrupole moment are re-examined in the light of recent developments. Using the deuteron wavefunction of the Paris potential, the results are Delta r=0.0036 fm and Delta Q=0.0063 fm2.
