Abstract

Inelastic interactions of π-mesons with the emulsion nuclei at an average energy of 200 GeV are considered from the point of view of the intranuclear cascade model. It is taken into account that several fast particles can interact simultaneously with one intranuclear nucleon. The number of such many-particle interactions is more than one-third the total number of elastic and inelastic collisions of fast particles inside the nucleus. The results of calculations agree well with experiment.
