Abstract

One of the names of Masnavi is Magz-i Kuran and another one is Kessafu’l-Kuran. The reason of this naming depends on the fact that the numbers of the ayahs which were literally and semantically quoted are almost 700. If we add the ayahs which were indicated with references to this quantity, the number of the ayahs to be interpreted will be nearly 1,500. This number corresponds to the quarter of the Holy Quran therefore Masnavi is considered to be the sufi interpretation of Holy Quran
