Abstract

The body language is one of the most important components between communication with people. In professional life, it is necessary to use the body language correctly and adequately in order to communicate effectively both internally and externally environment. Verbal communication that is not supported by body language can cause misunderstanding in interpersonal relations. The use of verbal (written-verbal) and non-verbal communication elements in a complementary-supportive manner has an important share in the professional competencies of professional members who have various relationships with their internal and external environment. In this article, the importance of body language in interior communication in professional life as a communication component that complements verbal communication is discussed.
