Abstract

This article takes place in the general problematics of languages in contact, Jewish languages and languages of Diaspora. It intends to study on a comparative way the diachrony of Yiddish and Judaeo-Spanish, two diasporic languages with similar destiny. After a short presentation of these two languages (I), are examined successively : the creation of Judaeo-languages in Diaspora (II), the Diaspora versus migration (III), the Judaeo calques languages (IV), the common dynamics of Jewish languages (V) and the diachrony of Jewish languages (6). In our conclusions (7), we focus on the successful innovations appearing in a Jewish language. We also point out the very importance of Hebrew component as well as the inter-linguistic competence of Yiddish and Judaeo-Spanish speakers in the evolution process of the languages considered.
