Abstract

The students participating in the career of bilingual education in primary and elementary come from different indigenous peoples of the andean regions, and Amazon in the peruvian region, where there is a great diversity of cultures and languages. The objective was to determine the influence of the application of the tutorial with the intercultural approach in the development of skills metalingüísticas in entrants to the race of initial and primary education bilingual, Universidad Nacional Intercultural de la Amazonia. The findings give evidence that there are problems in the use of the mother tongue in public contexts, which translates to explain and engage in a conversation, preferring to speak in the family and community in order to avoid ridicule and discrimination. The companions of the mentoring programme of intercultural participated in the process of cooperation among the students, with the purpose of socializing their classroom experiences. In conclusion, the transformation of university gives a response to truly effective diversity because the holistic approach should cover all the bases, from principles and pedagogical goals, organizational rules, organization, and pedagogical management.
