Abstract
A case study of a mentoring programme which was carried out in the marketing department of a financial services organisation. The programme took place with two senior women managers who had taken on a role as a job share. It demonstrates the use of profiling in a mentoring situation. It shows the value of mentoring and profiling in understanding ‘difference’ and developing effective strategies to work with it.
