Abstract

Background: Menses can be distressing for transgender and gender minority adolescents who do not identify as female. Many patients request menstrual management as an intervention to alleviate increased dysphoria due to menses, but there are minimal data on this topic. The objective of this study is to describe choice and continuation of menstrual management methods (MMM) in transgender and gender minority adolescents.
