Abstract

It has been said that ‘men's health’ is a contradiction in terms. That might sound dramatic, but consider that male life expectancy at birth averages just 75 years and men in social class 5 (unskilled manual) have a life expectancy of 68years, lower than average male life expectancy in the early 1970s.
