Abstract

The Real Work Lecture (Kuliah Kerja Nyata or KKN) at IAIN Palangkaraya is one form of higher education's commitment to society with the aim of developing human resources and community participation. One of the locations for KKN is the East Cempaka Mulia Village, East Kotawaringin Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. This KKN program involves students as active agents of change who provide hope, experiences, and knowledge to the community. Its focus is the flagship program "Festival Anak Sholeh" which takes place during the Islamic New Year in the village. This program includes various competitions such as the call to prayer (adzan), fashion show, first place ranking, memorization of short surahs, and lectures. Its primary goal is to enhance the character of children, their religious knowledge, as well as their interests and talents. The implementation methods include training, preparation, and practice. The results show the enthusiasm of the children in participating in the competitions and an improvement in their self-confidence. These activities help shape the character of the children, enhance their religious knowledge, and provide motivation to always learn and develop their potential in the religious field. The KKN program at IAIN Palangkaraya in East Cempaka Mulia Village demonstrates that community service can have a positive impact on the development of human resources and the quality of the community.
