Abstract

I recall Art's enthusiasm for poetry therapy when we took a walk together at one of our annual APT conventions in Annapolis. I felt that someday he would make a great president of the organization. He proved to be one of the greatest presidents of the National Association for Poetry He was a brilliant pioneer with numerous achievements. My sister, Betty Stoller and my late brother-in-law, Dr. Leo Stoller invited Art to all of their parties and celebrations. He was like a member of their family. I always felt close to Art, and we were like brothers. I admired Art's poetry, leadership, brilliant mind, and his books. He was a true humanitarian. He was the Dean of Poetry Therapy. I shall always miss Art's phone calls and talking with him at the conventions. I shall always miss his friendship.
