Abstract

We analyze the construction of the Roman official memory about Domitian into the publics spaces of imperial representation in the Hispanic cities. The condemnation of his memory is a singular field of study. Therefore, we intend to analyze how was the reception of the image and official propaganda in Hispanic cities, and how the damnatio memoriae was materialized, through the analysis of portraits and votive and honorific tributes preserved in the Iberian Peninsula.
