Abstract
One of the few UK cider producers still using traditional methods of manufacture, Westons of Much Marcle, has installed a 60-module Memcor continuous microfiltration (CMF) system to remove yeast, bacteria and other solids down to 0.2 μm from a settled stream. The CMF system has replaced a seven-stage filtration process.
