Abstract
The combination of paramagnetic tagging strategies with NMR or EPR spectroscopic techniques can revolutionize de novo structure determination of helical membrane proteins. Leveraging the full potential of this approach requires optimal labeling strategies and prediction of membrane protein topology from sparse and low-resolution distance restraints, as addressed by Chen etal. (2011).
