Abstract

The patients described in this report used medications thatcould cause cognitive impairment. Memantine could haveantagonized these effects, through unclear mechanisms.To our knowledge, this is the first report on the usefulness ofmemantine in the treatment of cognitive impairment in bipolardisorder patients.
