Abstract
The issuance of Supreme Court Circular Letter Number 3 of 2023 has caused anxiety for prospective bride and groom couples who are going to have an interfaith marriage in Indonesia. According to positive Indonesian law according to Marriage Law number 1 of 1974 which was later updated with Law Number 16 of 2016, a marriage is declared valid if it is carried out according to the laws of one's religion and beliefs and each marriage is recorded according to the applicable statutory regulations. This service is entitled Understanding Marriage between different religions and the position of the Supreme Court Circular Letter in the structure of positive law in Indonesia by selecting the problem of whether it is possible to marry between different religions, what are the legal consequences for brides and grooms who marry between different religions. This service is carried out with a sociological approach and the delivery is carried out live stemming because it is adjusted to developments that occurs in society. By using secondary data and it will be presented clearly about the phenomenon of interfaith marriages, from the data collected and analyzed in a descriptive manner, the results will then be presented in the form of a talk show.
