Abstract

Cancer-complicating pregnancy is a rare coexistence. The therapeutic management of the pregnant patient with cancer is especially difficult because it involves two persons, the mother and the fetus. Malignant melanoma is one of the more common cancers affecting women in childbearing years. In this report, we discuss the therapeutic challenges when treating a pregnant patient diagnosed with malignant melanoma.
