Abstract

Many currently unrecognized genetic etiologies of male infertility likely exist, and we sought to identify genes influencing male infertility using next-generation sequencing approaches. The melanoma antigen (MAGE) family of genes may function in germ cell maintenance and fertility, and herein we present genomic data associating the melanoma antigen gene MAGEC1 with male fertility.
