Abstract

Families facing life-limiting fetal diagnosis benefit from palliative care consultation. Differing models of perinatal palliative care (PPC) programs exist in a variety of academic and community-based medical systems to provide medical, social and family-centered care during pregnancy complicated by life-limiting fetal diagnosis. We describe the development of a novel PPC consultative program within a children’s hospital multidisciplinary fetal medicine clinic.
