Abstract

Often the patient’s expectations at the stages of treatment are too high. Patients hope that the problems will be resolved in a few days, a maximum of a week, without assessing the course of the disease or the process of treatment and rehabilitation. According to statistics, 75 % of the Russian population seek medical help in a «neglected» state. The article describes the experience of building relationships between a patient and a nurse at the Federal Center for Cardiovascular Surgery in Astrakhan.
