Abstract

Abstract The Second Northeast Regional Operational Workshop, focusing on hydrometeorology in the northeastern United States, was held 7–8 November 2000 in Albany, New York. Sessions in cold season events, warm season events, and operational techniques were presented. A special session, conducted by the National Centers for Environmental Prediction, was devoted to a review of Eta Model performance for the 24–26 January 2000 east coast snowstorm. A summary of workshop presentations is provided.
