Abstract

Winter togs put aside, a spanking new car out front, jets overhead. An aroused interest in fundamental medicine.... Time is ripe for the Annual Meeting of the American Medical Association, New York City, June 25-30, 1961. The program is a masterpiece. Secretaries, general committees, and a dedicated staff have gone all out to make the 1961 session one to be remembered. Down-to-earth presentations will highlight the clinical features, notably discussions and demonstrations of new techniques, new diagnostic aids, and definitive treatment. Motion pictures and closed-circuit television will dramatize the spoken word. The research program will be a striking innovation, attracting research workers with a special interest in medicine and medical practice.
