Abstract

Developing the essential components and meeting the ACGME requirements for a pediatric radiology training program is a time-consuming, yet important process. Numerous resources are available for those who are charged with the task. A curriculum in pediatric radiology was published in 1995. The Association of Program Directors in Radiology (APDR) has published additional material on non-interpretive radiologic issues. Examples of goals/objectives/curriculum/expectations and evaluations developed by our department are given in this article to be used as a baseline by other departments. During development, faculty members within the department should be consulted for input to insure successful implementation of the program.
