Abstract
Just before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, AJHP implemented transformational changes to the journal’s editorial structure, leveraging the extensive expertise of our members to better serve the practice needs of our readers. The result is a stellar roster of volunteer contributing editors and editorial board members whose knowledge and experience encompass the breadth of pharmacy practice in hospitals and health systems, including the care of patients in settings outside of hospital walls. Editorial board members are responsible for providing expert advice to the journal’s editors and staff about important and emerging issues in pharmacy practice and readers’ needs, reviewing articles submitted to AJHP, and recruiting authors and reviewers. Contributing editors provide direction in key areas including therapeutics, medication safety, pharmacogenomics, and leadership, develop content and connect with authors for special features, and write editorials.
