Abstract

Health Education is the construction of learning, seeking to instruct society about public health and build opinions inherent to single health. The objective of this work was to promote actions on animal welfare, responsible ownership and control of zoonoses in order to train multipliers of this knowledge. After responding to a procedure to guarantee data on prior notions, students from public institutions in Manaus attended interactive lectures and received gifts for participating. 455 students participated (356 from elementary school, 99 from high school and college). A lack of knowledge was noted, evidencing the sacredness of projects that shape conscious generations, form humanized academics and awaken interaction with the community.
