Abstract
Objective To investigate the medicolegal expertize of trauma induced retinal detachment.Methods Clinical manifestations were retrospectively analyzed in 42 cases with trauma induced retinal detachment.The pathogenesis was analyzed and main points were determined.Results In 42 cases with trauma induced retinal detachment,the clinical manifestation was mainly vitreous hemorrhage,followed by iridodialysis,luxation of lens,laceration of eye lid,hyphema,and each manifestation was found in 3 cases.The other manifestations were foreign body in vitreous,detachment of choroid,traumatic cataract,traumatic proliferative retinopathy,etc.Conclusion The medicolegal expertise of trauma induced retinal detachment should combine with the clinical manifestations and examination results of eye.If the patients have taken effective treatment,we should obey the principle as definite diagnosis,identification after relative treatment and pathogenetic condition becoming stable.
