A comprehensive plan of consultation service had been projected in the American Expeditionary Forces in World War I. Armistice came before all of its weaknesses had been remedied. In World War II a group of distinguished specialists constituted the Army Medical Directorate Consultants' Committee to the Director General of the Royal Army Medical Corps in London, whereas two able clinicians and a pathologist acted as professional advisers to the Director...
