Among the many exciting medical developments in China are the revitalization of traditional medicine, emergence of barefoot doctors, synthesis of insulin, successful reattachment of severed fingers and limbs, complete eradication of venereal diseases, successful chemotherapy of metastasizing choriocarcinoma, and acupuncture anesthesia.
