Abstract

Ethics and Nonsense At the risk of appearing both dense and perverse, I timorously suggest that perhaps the most inflated nonissue currently absorbing time and energy in the health community and its governmental command posts is that loose amalgamation of anxieties and passions that comes under the banner of medical ethics. It is purposeless to say, Don't get me wrong, for to question concern with medical ethics today is akin to being unenthusiastic about mother's milk, solar energy, and election finance reform. I'm for all of them, and I'm for evolving and enforcing the highest standards of medical ethics. But . . .
