Abstract

Background: Medication adherence (MA) is the key for the treatment of chronic heart failure. This study aims to investigate the actual rate of MA in Korean patients with chronic heart failure, its influencing factors including attitudes, knowledge and barriers and its relationship with symptoms, self care behaviors and quality of life. Methods: Data were collected in the patients with heart failure who had visited the outpatient heart failure clinic in Korea using questionnaires. A total of 80 responses were collected and analyzed initially.
