This textbook is different from the usual one on this subject in that discussions of radiographic positioning, centering, and exposure factors are not included. However, a detailed and thorough discussion of the principles and varied applications of x-ray in diagnosis and therapy, particularly for technicians in training, is presented. Subsequent chapters cover in adequate detail the entire field of x-ray technique, with emphasis on basic principles. The subject matter is presented in such a manner that the technician will be well versed in all phases, from the nature and properties of x-ray and apparatus to the varied applications in diagnosis as well as therapy.
