Abstract
The article discusses the potential benefits that are associated with the use of medical countermeasure (MCM)-related comic strips (comics) to help individuals visualize public health emergency responses, and it mentions how comics combine dialogue, symbols, and images to provide clarity to medical issues. The illustration of an MCM-based point of dispensing (POD) is addressed, along with information for people with lower literacy and limited English language skills.
