Abstract

This is the second medical and surgical report of the Roosevelt Hospital; the first was published in 1915, and this number was to have been published in 1920 but was delayed because of the war. It contains articles on various topics by members of the staff. Some of the articles were written expressly for this report but many articles that have been published elsewhere are included. The articles in this volume are on a wide variety of subjects and over half are contributed by a relatively small group of workers. Most of the articles are in the nature of case reports, statistical compilations or general discussions on some topic of universal interest. There is little evidence of medical research work contained in them. The illustrations are excellent and well reproduced.
