Abstract

Intraocular pressure (IOP) is part of the pathogenesis of glaucoma. This article discusses treatment and management options for patients who are progressing at low levels of IOP, glaucoma medication, neuroprotective agents to preserve retinal ganglion cells, argon laser trabeculoplasty, prophylactic laser peripheral iridotomy, incisional glaucoma surgery, as well as minimally invasive glaucoma surgery.
