Abstract

Median arcuate ligament syndrome (MALS) was described decades ago; however, its diagnostic criteria and treatment paradigms remain unclear. Ligament release and celiac ganglionectomy can relieve symptoms, however only certain patients benefit. We sought to characterize the factors leading to operative management and its influence on outcomes at our institution.
