Abstract
Teacher is a very noble profession. Where the professionalism of teachers is very closely related to their competencies. If we assume that every child is special and intelligent, then we must also believe that there is no teacher who cannot teach. Therefore, it is only natural that the teacher must continue to learn so as not to lag behind the progress of the times. So this paper will examine how the role of teachers in this era of globalization in dealing with the onslaught of the role of Social Media which has become a hegemony for the behavior of students, especially during the golden age. The period in which the child's growth and development should be a serious concern of teachers and parents, so that later children become agents and keepers of traditions with moral, moral and spiritual values.
