Abstract

Networks of new information and communication systems have become a vital part of the present day life. Becoming a part of the environment, they have an influence on the younger generation’s education and upbringing, seriously competing with schools and universities. When they become teaching materials in the classroom, media text taken from newspapers, radio, television, and the Internet become an essential part of the education system, storing, and sometimes enhancing the educational and training system and teaching qualities. That means that media texts become important sources of professional improvement. Each training method has its own ‘horizontal’ since it is aimed at teaching a certain subject. Partial didactics of ‘vertical vector’ complete their tasks by interacting with the didactic’s ‘horizontal’ vector. This report deals with both media didactics and professionally-oriented media education in higher education as new and promising phenomena in education.
