Abstract
"A final test of whether 'Communications and the Modern Media' serves its purpose lies in the existence of 'continuing, self-directed' edu cation. A number of Media students are pres ently employed at radio and television sta tions. One imaginative graduate, so employed, has selected short clips from commercials, pub lic service announcements, and film promotions to form a collage of ideas which uses the stu dent's own sound track. A film statement has been made without the use of a camera by the individual making it."
