Abstract

The purpose of the research is to propose and develop a new control scheme for online detection and sorting system. The detection mode with online, real-time, non-contact, high-speed and high accuracy is becoming the characteristic of the industrial manufacturing detection link in recent years, and this requires us to use an appropriate control scheme for production. To achieve the purpose, the 3D-model of mechatronic sorting system and image detection and recognition algorithm were developed. Applying the developed image detection and recognition algorithm in Visual Studio/MFC, the recognition results and efficiency were evaluated. Based on theoretical and experimental research, it was proved that applying image detection and recognition algorithm can accurately recognize different mechanical products and the recognition efficiency is acceptable.
