Abstract

The delayed fluorescence of several aromatics has been studied in a series of rigid organic glasses at 77 K. Buildup and decay kinetics were investigated. All systems showed photoionization of the solute; the matrix quenches recombination delayed fluorescence and triplet-triplet annihilative delayed fluorescence is observed.
