Abstract

The mechanism of variance of moment of inertia in the fermion dynamical symmetry model is investigated. It is shown that the heritage mixing is indeed the major factor causing the variance of moment of inertia in well-deformed nuclei, but the scheme of the mixing and the form of heritage mixing interaction are important to discribing the phenomenon.
