Abstract
A heavy-ion transfer reaction is one in which only a small portion of the nuclear matter ts transferred from one nucleus to the other, presumably without the formation of a compound system. It was found the neutron transfer reactions are strongly Q-dependent and that their cross sections increase with energy rather slowly once a critical energy is reached. Several reaction transfer mechanisms are compared for previous studies. (B.O.G.)
