Abstract

Objective: Chemotherapy associated liver injury (CALI) has been linked to increased peri-operative complications and reduced long-term survival after liver resection for colorectal liver metastasis (CRLM). Neo-adjuvant FOLFOX has specifically been associated with the development of sinusoidal obstruction syndrome (SOS). The aim of this study was to evaluate the potential mechanisms of hepatotoxicity after neoadjuvant FOLFOX in a murine model of CRLM.
