Abstract
The spectra and temperature dependence of the intensity of the radical-recombination luminescence excited by hydrogen atoms in CaO- and KCl-base phosphors have been measured. On the basis of the results, a mechanism is proposed for this type of luminescence in phosphors having wide forbidden bands.
