Abstract
Leaching liquid of smelting dust was used as the As(∨) source. Common octahedral-shaped scorodite and large spindle-shaped scorodite were synthesized. Through the analysis, the high concentration H+ can inhibit the forming and growth of (1 1 1) and (2 0 0) lattice planes. The particles aggregated together and assessed during the ageing process. The large high crystallinityspindle-shaped scorodite was formed at last. TCLP tests at pH 4.93 and leaching tests were carried out in alkaline solutions with pH of 9.30. Large spindle-shaped scorodite materials have better stability than the common octahedral-shaped scorodite.
