Abstract
AbstractThis review paper represents the fabrication of hybrid composite with natural fibres and discusses the latest trends used in various practical applications in different field like in construction, automobile, etc. In the modern era, natural fibre reinforced composites have to keep attention because of their lightweight, low cost, nontoxic, combustible, nonabrasive, and ecological properties instead of synthetic fibres. Present work material like human hair and sisal fibres are used for making hybrid composite. The human hair were collected from barber shop. In India, three to four ton of human hair fibre are wasted daily, so they possess an environmental challenge. In order to find the commercial application of human hair and sisal fibre, they use as a reinforcing material for making composite. This review shows the fabrication of sisal fibre and human hair with epoxy resin in mechanical field especially in making body of vehicle, shock-absorbing part of machine and household furniture etc. Current work focused on the manufacturing process of sisal fibre and human hair from raw material to used application purposes.KeywordsNatural fibresSisal fibresHuman hairEpoxy resin polymer composite
