Abstract

Results of studying nanocomposite materials based on ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene filled with copper oxide nanopowder produced in plasma of low-pressure arc discharge are presented. The process of the vacuum-plasma synthesis of powdered composite mixtures, which involves the treatment of powders of the polymer matrix material in a device for synthesizing nanopowders at low temperatures, is described. Results of the experimental study of the specimens are presented.
