Abstract

Cylindrical splicing clamp is a new type of splicing clamp designed based on a wedge-shaped self-locking principle for a 10kV distribution circuit. The clamp has the advantages of a simple structure, convenient operation, and a wide range of applicable wire diameters. In this paper, a 3D solid model of the cylindrical connecting clamp is established by using SolidWorks three-dimensional software, and then the preliminary analysis is carried out by using the Solidworks Simulation module, and the structure is improved according to the analysis results. Finally, the improved structure in ANSYS Workbench static structural module is used for finite element analysis to verify the effect of structural optimization. The results show that the structure of the optimized cylindrical splicing clamp avoids the possible problems of excessive stress concentration and uneven stress of various parts before optimization.
